Doing business with HVP aqua

HVP aqua specialises in aquarium lighting and we do nothing else than aquarium lighting. That makes us the experts in this field. No other company in the world has focused so long (over 10 years) and so specifically on aquarium lighting.  In addition to offering a wide range of retail products, we are also very adept at making custom-made products. We help our custom customers, also known as OEM customers, to develop lighting that offers their customers the desired solution. The OEM department handles projects that are different from the standard retail range of HVP aqua. Think here of:

• Aquarium service companies (installation and maintenance)
• Companies specialising in shop fitting (Pet & aquarium retail/shop fitting)

• Aquarium specialist shops that, for example, want to replace the lighting of the shop fittings

Product development and design

HVP AQUA has six dedicated full-time engineers at its development and manufacturing site who work on every OEM project with passion and expertise. This results in short lines of communication. However, before we put our engineers to work we will discuss with the customer in detail what the needs are and what belongs to the final possibilities. The next step in the process is to work out the plan and print 3D models. After the client's approval, we will ask our engineers to work out the plan in more detail and give us their advice. This phase will also provide insight into costs, minimum purchase quantities and delivery times. Subsequently, the first samples can be made and presented to the client. Because samples often have to be modified several times, the sampling phase is the longest phase. In general, an OEM project takes 3-12 months, depending on the complexity.
